No, this is not correct. The main speech backend for Orca is Speech
Dispatcher. Speech Dispatcher currently requires Festival to run
separately. That could be changed of course in the future if there is a
good reason, but it requires some work as some Festival scheme functions
behave differently wh

Sorry for the previous post. I didn't fully realize how the system works. But
back to the problem itself. I took a look about figures kernel reports in
sysfs. Looks like current_now is always same figure as power_now, meaning

I notice one strange thing in that code: the result will only fit in 16
bits if red1 and red2*alpha_1 together aren't bigger than 0x80.

Thank you for correcting me. You are correct, festival does not start as
expected without additional work. I am not sure a file in /etc/init.d is
needed, but don't really know what is. It is possible a resolution to
bug 209900 or bug 662630 would resolve this issue.
