Well, yeah when you switch between different window managers, the new
window manager has to recreate all the window decorations. That's why
the borders and buttons disappear. The panel is part of the window
manager too, so when switching WM's that'll disappear too. So, so far
it isn't sounding l

First back up /boot/grub

I think a patch that uses libudf would be better, since libudf is
already in main and libdvdread is not - you wouldn't need to go through
the MIR process.

This bug is present in 10.04 LTS and 10.10 versions and affect Nikon users (at
least those having D90 and D5000).
In my case it takes about one hour to upload 100 photos from my D90. I can't

I have the same problem on a Dell Precision M4500. It seems to be caused by the
fact that no udev events are triggered if the DVD is ejected with the button
when the drive is mounted. Unmounting the DVD after it has been ejected
triggers the event. In the same way, just unmonting without ejectin

builds in 'daily'. For instance in daily/current there is only one deb
file with headers... As far as I remember there should be also deb's

I can confirm this bug in xubuntu 10.10.
It occured on my old Medion md 9800 notebook.
After fighting with it for a week i noticed, that it only happened when my
external mouse was plugged in.
Unplugging the external mouse solved this problem for me! Let me know if you
need more information.

When toggling a window between windowed and fullscreen mode (Like vlc or
totem), when it comes out of fullscreen mode, the window is moved past
the top left corner of the screen so it is a little bit offscreen.

Further investigation reveals that there is a file stored on the iPod
(in my case in /media/Michael%20HEN/iPod_Control/iTunes/gtkpod.prefs)
when it is first set up to work with gtkpod, and which isn't changed in

I have the same problem with 2.6.37-7 (natty).
I will have Xorg spike at 17% or 50% or more of CPU when moving mouse.
There I just hit 34%. And 37%.
Only reliable way to fix is to reboot.
I only have pidgin and chromium (daily) running.
