The plan is when you first run 0.8 it will detect that your files are
dirty and begin updating the metadata in the background. If you've
added tags, changed titles, etc., they will be written to disk. If no
changes have been made to a photo, the file is untouched.

the sources shipped in Ubuntu, just disabled by the build system.
Removing the patch and rebuilding re-enables the theme for me.

Rebooting doesn't make any difference in my case. The problem is
permanent. The only workarounds that have any effect are those offered
by Kenneth and Rhubarb: using Nouveau instead of the nVidia driver,
using a .gtkrc or killing and restarting gnome-settings-daemon. But
the problem remains.

I open rhythmbox, navigate to music store. When cursor enters main music
store window, rhythmbox exits.
When starting from terminal, stdout says:

I get the exact same problem here with Nvidia Drivers.
This is a really annoying, and serious issue that makes it impossible to
see through those glitches.
This should definitely be fixed before release, its pretty unacceptable.

After upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10 I now receive a pop up box saying
out of space. My Ubuntu One account is not full and has never been close
to full.

I've taken a cursory look at this and believe you're just hitting the
performance limitations of eCryptfs. It is just much more apparent when
using an SSD as compared to spinning media.
However, I've spotted something that looks a little fishy in
ecryptfs_write_end(). We're calling ecryptfs_encryp
