Sorry, I wroted wrong the second comment with the selected keyboard
layout radio button if the US keyboard layout is top of the keyboard
layout list. The always default selected keyboard layout radio button is
US in Maverick, need manual switching the hungarian keyboard layout

By reducing the number of groups in our setup we have managed to improve
log on time a little. But login and using the id command is still
terribly slow. This is a showstopper for us in offering Ubuntu as a

Maverick RC. (I performed a clean install of the root partition, from

I used a wired internet connection, it is up and running and detected during
the installation.
I've tried a fresh installation from the LiveCD and a Wubi installation on a
French W7 and both installation show the same behaviour.
The first installation screen is in french, 'Français' is preselecte

that postfix has been configured for 'Local only' mail delivery with
default options selected in the dpkg-[pre|re]configure screens.
When this option is selected /etc/mailname is not setup as the System
Mail Name is not a FQDN.

I moved the build environment out of the encrypted home folder to an
unencrypted part of the same harddisk and made a complete rebuild of the
Angstrom image. This time the build went through without any issues.

I think a packaging bug/request for the firmware should be separate.
The kernel option to enable the kernel specific parts and driver is
simply a .config oversight on the Ubuntu Kernel maintainers behalf. This
driver works well and means users with the card are having to maintain

Are you looking at the transmission process under system monitor
processes tab? If so, i followed what you said you have done and I
don't notice a problem. CPU percentage stays in a range of 0-5%. Gnome
system monitor is actually using more than the transmission client. Are
you using a Fresh 10

did you get an applet crash? if the applet got removed it's not the
indicator-applet fault in any case, either it's gnome-panel which
changed its configuration or it crashed and you didn't click on "reload"
