I filed the bug as an omission not a wishlist. Jaunty 64 bit partner
repo has the acroread package, I'm pretty sure it had it during

"ALSA:front" (didn't need to do the rest) works fine, but the audio from

I was a bit curious about how i got two versions of xulrunner on a
almost completly clean system. But it turs out that it was the
aplication "chmsee" which required xulrunner-1.9. So I have to live
without that.

I've got this problem as well. I have a usb partition with LUKS and in
Jaunty cryptsetup 1.0.6 a window pops up asking for a password. In
Karmik nothing happens and I have to mount it manually with mount.crypt
(I seem to remember as I don't have my karmik machine in here now).

I think it's some kind of power saving mechanism. I have found a notice
on an archlinux wiki page about alsa where It says, that you should try
to load the "snd-hda-intel" module with the option "power_save=0" by
directly loading it from the commandline or by adding "options snd-hda-
intel power_sa

If I remember correctly, lack of /etc/samba/smb.conf while installing a
new package ended up in this bug. As I managed to install lateron with
an added file, I believe this was the case.

I've pretty much narrowed this down to an issue with hald-addon-stor as
that seems to be the only common running process just after the freezes.
I assume that this is some kind of automounter and that it might be
trying to automount the 'cd' that is in the Huawei modem, which could
cause issues.
