I am using the Nvidia Geforce 8200m on a laptop running Ubuntu 9.04 and
an old Sony Vaio desktop with a SIS graphics card (also running Ubuntu
9.04). I don't see how I could attach a screenshot of the problem
because the dialog can browse to a folder but it wouldn't appear to do

If you want to create several VMs from same working dir, you can use the
--dest option, this allows you to specify target dir, however I agree
that if not specifying --dest, vmbuilder should use the value of
--hostname (if that is default), but this is more a wish than a bug.

Sorry to be repeating myself, but isn't the SRU Verification team
supposed to do all these tests?
Also, given that the patch comes from and is approved by upstream, given
that it's really tiny, given that it's been in -proposed for more than 3
months with no negative feedback (nor positive, right)

Was trying to run update through console the other day and it gave me an
instruction to run a command using dpkg --configure -a; this not only helped
with console but it seems to have helped with with kpackage as well. The

Actually, the symlink vs. cpio issue does seem to cause a certain amount
of bloat. This is unfortunate but I'd prefer not to fix that just now,
since I know that it causes issues for building on disk-limited systems.

Thank you so much for the reply. I fixed it for my self and had not
check my mail box since.
I accidentally used "sudo pidgin" and found that it did remember
my account settings, then I made a copy of the setting file and
remove ./purple and made a new one. It worked!
