I have a Dell Inspiron 1000 with a fairly new install of Ubuntu 9.04.
I've noticed that the power manager doesn't shut down/hibernate/suspend
the computer completely. It will hang on [xxx.xxx]
I had a similar problem using 9.04 64bits server edition.
AuthBasicAuthoritative Off was present, so authentication was really
made with MySQL data.
I could enter login and password, but then I got a blank page and
/var/log/apache2/error.log reported child pid exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
Ditto here. In Ubuntu 9.04, printing on an HP Laserjet 4+ is
unacceptably slow, especially with but not limited to big files and
multiple copies.
Even after the print job starts, it takes maybe 15 seconds to print each
b&w page. Compare Windows, which spits 'em out at the rated speed of the
printe

This is getting worse:
All of the above was dualscreen with extended desktop. Now, I tested a
mirrored configuration - this also shows the bug.
Then, I tried to just configure the notebook display, having the
external display shut off. When I close the lid, I briefly see the
external display bein

The problem is now resolved, as per my understanding, the bug was not in
firefox, but with the interface on Google's side.
