I upgraded to 9.04 from 8.10 last night from the update manager. After
the update/upgrade completed, I restarted the computer as instructed.
When it came to the login screen my keyboard and mouse did not respond.
I have tried restarting and using the recovery console to start

Andre, this was fixed by Debian by updating the Debian patch
(01_debian_4.0.patch). Thus, by removing much of it, the problem got

This fix was just uploaded to Debian. As the package is unchanged in

after upgrading to jaunty, gnome terminal started being very slow when
scrolling contents of tabs. this seems to manifest itself in tabs where
there's an ssh to another machine (though i can't figure why). scrolling
takes 100% of a core (i have thinkpad t61 with dual core).

Similarly to the issues raise in bug #372385 I have found out gnome
desktop environment (version 2.26.1) is a dependency when removing
epiphany-browser-data, epiphany-extensions, epiphany-gecko, cups-client
via synaptic manager version 0.62.5.
Furthermore if you try to remove libcups2 package, the
thunderbird 3 isnt even out of betas yet.

I've managed to reproduce the crash with ekiga 3.2.0-0ubuntu1, it indeed
crash after clicking dial with no valid account. After updating to the
proposed package 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 , tried to reproduce the same, it
doesn't crash anymore, the bug is fixed, thanks all.
