This bug is being discussed in the red hat bugzilla too: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=444466
It seems to exist a conflict between the scp auto completion and the gvfs one. There are two solutions, waiting for a correction: - disable the gvfs autocompletion. For that, just add "return" at the top of the file /etc/bash_completion.d/gvfs-bash-completion.sh - remove the gvfs package For both solution, the behaviour is effective only if I kill X (I don't know how to restart bash_completion). ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #444466 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=444466 -- tab-completion of scp removes hostname https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/336670 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
