Yes, suspend-resume normally works and I have also tested it with test script
which passed.
You may be right that this crash report may be caused by flat battery: I recall

installed.
After downloading the latest for Linux (10.0.22.87) and installing via debconf,
it didn't seem to get installed. So I ran update manager and updated 309

All the patch did that I submitted was change a .desktop file. I still

Ubuntu is unable to detect my PCI SB Audigy (SB0090) sound card. aplay
and lspci fail to report it. I would expect lspci to report it before I
have any hope of getting it to work with alsa. I tried following

This morning's updates to cups have vastly improved the behaviour of the
webgui (http://localhost:631/). I can now delete all of the dodgy partly
created printers and start again. I can then go on to successfully
create a new Kyocera printer (using the "Kyocera Mita" PPD rather than
the Gutenprint

As the bug has been identified as a kernel issue, and the distinction
between not running the test suite and running the test suite with
kludges applied to ensure it passes is largely immaterial, I'm dropping
the jaunty target for libipc-sharelite-perl itself.

Ok, I'm dropping the jaunty target for this bug accordingly.
There is still insufficient information here to link this bug to any
other bugs, upstream or in other distributions. We need a full
backtrace in order to establish that.

Even if you considere this a bug in cron, it was Ubuntu's decision to
ship the Desktop version without a MTA installed by default (a decision
that I am not questioning, since I agree with it).
Debian ships a MTA installed by default (exim, AFAIK) so this issue does
