I checked out the Adobe Flash plugin - I had version 10.0.15.something installed. After downloading the latest for Linux (10.0.22.87) and installing via debconf, it didn't seem to get installed. So I ran update manager and updated 309 various packages, one of which included the Adobe flashplayer and the package called flashplayer-nonfree, and restarting FF, by visiting http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ it reported (via a flash frame, that required a click to activate due to Flashblock - as you'd expect - and which was one Flash thing that always seemed to work) that I now really had 10.0.22.87 flashplayer installed, and it's now working again.
Hope this helps others. luke -- firefox 3.0.5 + flashblock fails to load flash movies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
