on this) that when ubiquity is run from the desktop (in "Try or install

Just to follow up, I managed to connect to my Photosmart 3200 (network)
as a samba share. This eliminates my need for the gui feature.
However, I would have had much less frustration if something (in the
toolbox or ubuntu) told me I could connect through a network share.

I recently upgraded from Hardy to Intrepid and noticed this problem
(although I'm using totem rather than rhythmbox).
I suspected pulseaudio but disabling this (by killing the process) made
no difference.
My MP3s are on an external USB drive so it's not a hard disk contention
issue.

dpkg.bz2 is less than 6 MBs but apt.bz2 is like 21 MBs. And from

My tests seem to show that 10pt varies with size depending on dpi (ie:
10pt on a 135dpi monitor is bigger than 10pt on a 96dpi monitor).

I installed iotop on my intrepid laptop and saw that it was good.
Wanting to play with it on hardy and seeing it was not in apt, I
uploaded the deb to my server and successfully "$ sudo dpkg -i
iotop_0.2-2_all.deb". However running it gave me the following error

Note:
Changing that line has caused Banshee to be unable to play Internet
Radio stations. It can still play last.fm music though.
(gmusicbrowser, which is just local files, is able to play audio fine,
and Fx is able to play audio via flash just fine).
Re-commenting out that line enables Banshee
