I've kernel compiled from linux-source-2.6.28. I did choice in config:
Networking support
Bluetooth subsystem support
and disabling HCI USB driver
enabling HCI USB driver (old version)
and compile it. First what I must do:

According to NVNews forums, the 180.37 drivers seems to fix the problems with
signals. If you don't want to update the repositories with the new drivers
without testing (although I doubt they will be worse than the 180.35 drivers),

Hm, nostra's report might be not related, as far as I could see is the
SD-Card-Reader not from Ricoh... Altough, its a hp laptop too
The bug was fixed after 2.6.28 release, therefor sd card might not work

thanks for your fast reply. Well I only tried me-tv. There is a guide on
the mythtv.org website, which explains how the hauppauge settopbox
should work with this mediacenter, but I'm not sure, if this is the kind
of DVB application you intended.

It happens when the files in the trash doesn't have write permission for
the current user. It is strange though, because trash panel applet will
let empty the trash even if Nautilus would not.

Hmm, I've just looked at this patch with the intent of sponsoring it,
but have some remaining concerns.
Using the debian-sys-maint account (and therefore forcing root) , which
is what --local does, seems sub-par; this user has more permissions than
are actually needed to run mtop and therefore the
