According to NVNews forums, the 180.37 drivers seems to fix the problems with signals. If you don't want to update the repositories with the new drivers without testing (although I doubt they will be worse than the 180.35 drivers), please, post here the updated packages and we will test it. Installing the drivers trough the NVidia installer usually prevents further installations from packages to work correctly so to better test the drivers we need some packages.
