I confirm the same bug. THe X server _only_ restarts very irregurarly. ~4 times
a week, smtimes more often. It looks exactly the same as a result of
'ctrl+alt+bkspc". Probably always in this situation Firefox is running,

I discovered my previous problem was related with the power source.
Without external power, the kernel was able to identify the drive but
nothing else. Connecting to a working power supply solved my problem
with the JMicron USB to SATA controller.

It most likely is a duplicate of #294055, and yes, turning off compiz helped.
As described in #294055 too the problem really is firefox-specific. The other

I can confirm that every page of

using Intrepid. However, the diagrams in the document do not print
correctly - some parts of the diagram are omitted. I'll file a
different bug for that.

This has been driving me mad for a few weeks. I have 2 Intrepid
machines, one fresh install, one upgraded from Hardy both have the
same issue. I have tried tabbed and separate windows/chat and the show
button never works. Using Gnome Window manager. Here is the dpkg output
for info:
