A work-around for the time being is using /usr/lib/vpnc/cisco-decrypt in
the vpnc package. It only takes one command-line parameter (the
obfuscated secret), and spits out the group password.

I saw a clock freeze while testing suspend and hibernate. I believe it
is possible to happen with proper timing even without suspend or
hibernate.
I have rewritten the clock time setting code to use a lot simpler and
faster method, so this should now also be fixed in svn.

I am an idiot! When I re-built v4l for the gspca_zc3xx driver I did not
do it properly the first time and it re-built it with the ZC0301 driver.
Now I have done it properly skype now works OK without any hacks (having
previously installed 0.5.3-1~dooz1 as above. Thanks for the comments

thanks michael, your change appears to have fixed it for me. i can no
longer activate expo while the screensaver is active. i'll be sure to

I've got problems too. My editing with Netbeans has become really bad
because when scrolling or doing some other operations there's too much
lag. Looking at 'top' on shell I see that Xorg raises up to 90% of
cpu... that's not acceptable.

I can confirm this bug and have the same problem.
It probably applies to all virtual keyboards, I tried cellwriter and xvkbd.
They display correctly but don't receive any input events.
If I use kdm from kde3 (from http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net, which is now
offline) and insert exactly the same

Kompozer crashes on Intrepid by several mouseclick triggered actions.
When I use my keyboard to navigate through kompozer, it works fine. I
hope this helps in finding what's wrong.

I use qemu file images for my virtual disks, no raw devices. And I tried
different OS types (general, vista, dos, linux,...) It all fails. Next week
I'll try 8.10 again to check the proposed workaround.
