I think I've seen this behaviour on my MSI S271 since the last three releases
or so.
I just blacklisted the msi_laptop module and can conform that this "solves" the

I cannot guarantee that the issue is 100% gone, because I do not use

Can verify that. Pingus (0.7.2) was on for several hours. Machine locked
up eventually (cursor position updates every 10 secs or so) and hard
disk went nuts (for page file I assume). Hard reset (power off)

I can confirm this with an HP Pavilion dv2815nr. If you go into [
System > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts ] and disable the [ Desktop >
Launch help browser ] shortcut, it fixes the issue. Judging from this,
the problem seems to be that toggling the touchpad seems to generate the
same keycode as
Brando shouldn´t u have said 999kb not 999mb as you wrote above. Anybody
having any idea as to whatś happening on this front atm.

That's started to work when i've removed my .asoundrc.asoundconf
generated with "asoundconf -set-default-card Juli"
With it, providing the -ao argument yields nothing usefull:

I have what appears to be the same issue (based on the forum thread).
I have an HP LaserJet 4 connected via parallel port. Under Gutsy it
worked. Under Hardy it doesn't. I have two computers, one with a fresh
install of Hardy, and one with an upgrade from Gutsy.
It doesn't seem to be an apparmor
Assigning this to a different package; hopefully the package maintainer
