As I mentioned in the initial bugreport, this problem does not seem to affect other users on the system. So I guess the only thing I can do to permanently rid myself of this problem is removing all of my settings or create a new account and start using that one?
The thing I hate most about this problem, is that is just doesn't seem to be happening every time. Today, I logged in on my system and the problem didn't occur (and I didn't change anything to my system). The only thing out of the ordinary was that my girlfriend shut down the system last night, without logging me off. I wonder if the problem will return once I log off again properly... Too bad there doesn't seem to be a way to pin-point this problem by looking at logs or something. I'm getting this feeling I used to have when I was still running Windows: system misbehaving without ever figuring out what's causing it :( -- notification area won't hold applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252722 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
