Public bug reported:
For Ubuntu server, we need Java server software to be able to run with a
"headless" runtime that doesn't pull too much X-based dependencies.
Lots of common libraries incorrectly depend on "java2-runtime", making
them unsuitable as Java server software dependencies.

when you say you ran the diagnostics, are these Dell's own on-board
diagnostics? Also those numbers you gave are not very meaningful unless
we can tie them to a particular diagnostics output so please provide
more info on where these numbers came from, specifically which
diagnostic generated them.
The fix I've committed is a workaround; Evan, if you have more you're
looking at that's still relevant when you get back from holiday, feel
free to reopen this. I'm conscious that if this is going to work at all
then something in the partitioner's busy/changed detection must be
wrong!
