It is probable your mouse is USB 1.1 and the kernel you have installed only has
the USB 2.0 support enabled.
Can you send us the output of lsusb? (lsusb > lsusb.log)
Also the kernel version you're running? (uname -a > uname.log)
Just in case, can you try connecting the mouse to another computer,
I observe the same "Driver 'sd' needs updating - please use bus_type methods"
message on my system, in dmesg.
This is WITH the all_generic_ide option in grub.

Hi, i used the workaround described in post n°17 and the look of gome-terminal
fonts gets better. I think that character are anyway antialiansinged (see
attachment). The problem is that i don't use antialiasing (i hate it on my
laptop lcd).. In Gutsy i didn't have problems..

After upgrade to Hardy, I found xine was broken for DVD playing (there
is no plugin to handle dvd:/...), and kaffeine could not find the
libdvdcss2 library, which I had to re-install. I changed the settings in
the xine gui from dev/dvd to dev/scd0 and it worked fine. But Kaffiene
still wont recogni

FYI, some update from the debian side: Igloo promised an update of the
haskell-x11 package once we got ghc6 in testing, and this has happened
now, so "any time now" this might be fixed. Not sure though when he
get’s around to actually do it. The relevant bug in question is

So my proposal is this:
The attachment is supposed to be installed as /usr/bin/wireshark-root.
It tries su-to-root, gksu and kdesudo in this order, (although I don't
know if I got the options for kdesudo right), and when nothing's there
it opens x-terminal-emulator with plain sudo.

I figured it out eventually too. If you agree that the documentation is
lacking and there's a number of people reporting on this problem the bug
is there. Did you create one to follow up? Otherwise I think this one
should remain open.
What worked for me in the end with the Treo 600 was to
i have a toshiba satelite and i had audacity use alsa and i ran my microphone
through a mixer then to my laptop
and i was able to record my voice by turning my volume on my mixer all the way
up,the recording wasn't very loud so i think it's a problem with being able to
configure the alsa mixer

The reason that window decorations are apparently added in gkrellm's
default mode would appear to be because of the workarounds for Compiz
that had to be implemented, which changed the way windows are handled
@Paulus Esterhazy: Did you try setting the focus stealing prevention to
off? (It's in ccsm, under General Options -> Focus and raise behaviour)
