1. try to disable _all_ your extensions in tools -> addons : crash firefox
2. find $HOME/.mozilla/firefox | grep XUL.mfasl and remove that file
before starting firefox: deleted
3. find $HOME/.mozilla/firefox | grep compreg.dat and remove that fil

once in Hardy (early beta) and it basically killed my system - so I live

sheebangs are back as it were. I didn't know that $home folder has a
space limit.
The fault was $home folder was FULL.

Don't give up completely Glitch, rt61 did work on Ubuntu 7.10 with Wicd

Indeed, I can confirm this behaviour and I tend to agree that a script
should not be automatically executed after "Save Link as". At least,
the user is being asked, though, if the script should be run, so if
anything this is a minor problem.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to respond yesterday but for some reason
Thailand has it's outage or something; I'm sending this from an internet
cafe. The local papers are accusing the government of spying on us all -

implication is that the iwl3945 driver is *so* bad because it lacks
proprietary algorithms from Intel. This offers no hope of improvement
in the iwl3945.
