I just installed Kubuntu Hardy with kde4 and the same thing happens to

Only happens when trying to print from a windows xp to ubuntu 8.04 with samba
sharing a HP F4180.
The printer works excellent when printing in local (ubuntu).

Sadly I can't remove my mistaken report against Fuse or the probably-

This also occurs to me. Running Hardy-32 with AMD 64 5200+, asus m2n-e
motherboard, ralink wireless.
Freeze is total (ctrl-alt-backspace, f-keys, and Alt-SysRq REISUB do
nothing). Does not produce any messages in system log.

Hi Steve,
Anything that is broken by this is inherently broken, not the Avahi
setup - and -they- should be fixed.
The link local default is installed at the lowest preference, and should
not be used if a better one exists.
