boot into my trunk/ build KDE 4 from svn. Every now and then I will get

I think nautilus should call the JVM using the current directory,
but it seems to be calling it using my home (/home/my-user).

And it took me two hours to track down the problem.
On Ubuntu, the script asks me to select either
"Postgres" or "Mysql" - I selected Mysql - at that point

This isn't a bug in F-Spot this is a bug in Gnome printer dialog. Many Gnome
apps have this problem afaik.

Having the same lockup problem on Acer laptop. Attempted to upgrade to
2.6.25.1 kernel as described -- original installation had LVM-LUCK
encryption. Once attempting to boot into the new kernel, the password
for the whole disk encryption would no longer work. Had to revert back
to hardy kernel -
Same problem here. I have a Sony VGN-C1S laptop with a Pionner DVR-416M
CD/DVD recorder. I can no longer burn CD's or DVD's with neither brasero
nor nautilus-cd-burner...

Seems to work fine for me so far. I have tested importing, deleting,
categorizing, printing, slideshow, fullscreen and screensaver. I haven't a big

I was very unhappy that upstream made textured video standard while it isn't
really usable. That's why still overlay is used in Ubuntu release afaik.
I guess the best thing to test it is to let the pc just run with the
screensaver enabled.

I don't think it is Compiz as I have this problem and compiz is not
enabled.
I no longer get this problem while tabbing (even in firefox - this does
eventually push the CPU up to 100%), but when something ram intensive
(like hugin stitching photos together) is occurring there is lots of
stuttering
