I might be having the same problem. While playback of mp3 and ogg files works fine, enabling the crossfader (and restarting rhythmbox) increases rhythmbox's CPU usage from single digits to about 20 or 30%. This is more pronounced for certain audio files than for others--though I haven't been able to discern a pattern yet. Also, starting other applications or opening other windows sometimes causes audio playback to stutter.
I am using hardy with rhythmbox 0.11.5-0ubuntu6. -- rhythmbox uses 100% CPU time when using crossfading https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151514 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
