was configured to trigger the "critical action" when 2 minutes was left but
g-p-m keeps on showing 5 minutes even when acpi tells that the battery

I found at that, if you'd run the firefox as root it works again. Then

What is really happening, is that alacarte is not updating the screen
properly. You can add an item, but it won't show it. After I added a New
Seperator, all of a sudden all my newly added items magically appeared.
Since then, alacarte seems to behave again.

I am experiencing a similar issue with my Sony CLie PEG-SJ30/U.
I am unable to synchronize my PDA upon initial set up.
Steps: 1) Configure Gnome-Pilot Settings
Add MyPDA with owner Name and ID Number.
Device Settings: Cradle, USB, Time out: 2, Device: /dev/pilot, Speed: 9600

kwin-kde4 with the graphical effects turned on. It's possible that

I have two PC. Desktop with actual Gentoo stable and PCI DVB-T tuner
Hauppauge WinTV 2000 and laptop with Ubuntu 8.04 and USB DVB-T tuner
Gigabyte U7000. USB DVB-T tuner works well with mplayer a (g)xine at
both PC. Totem on my laptop with USB DVB-T is not working and Totem on

Same here, on Hardy, GnoCHM (0.9.11-1~getdeb1) cuts off the document
under the fold, so that you can read only the first screen from a given

save the position, than maximize and than close. If it is closed by event it

I use Ubuntu 8.04 with an Apple Mighty Mouse.
On startup the mouse connects to the notebook fine. It takes a while but
works.
After suspend to RAM and resume, the mouse does not connect again.
A workaround is:
In Bluetooth Manager -> Browse Devices...
I select my Mighty Mo
I'm using an intuos 3 and I get exactly the same result, xrestart
whenever a remapped expresskey is pressed on both a 32 bit and a 64 bit

after upgrade to heron the usb hdd did not work

I just tried it with and without compiz (restarting the browser each
time). The tiny window appears in both situations, but it's more obvious
with compiz running because of the shadow.

Solved!! i changed the music and video source in the sound properties
for alsa instead of auto detect and it fixes the thing.
