Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nagios-mysql
Just yesterday I tried to install nagios-mysql. The installation failed, and some files were missing. A manual fix required to find out what is required. Reading the nagios manuals I found out that nagios requires gcc to be installed - the ubuntu package does not. I was able to fix that with uninstall nagios-mysql and related packages, install gcc and install nagios-mysql. BTW, the nagios that gets installed is v1.4 while the nagios homepage offers 3.0. This seems to be a big gap. ** Affects: nagios (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nagios-mysql installation fails unless gcc is installed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234737 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
