I am still expierencing this issue. It's occasional now - sometimes
printer works properly, sometimes it is not detected (hp-info messages
an error). Right at the moment I am not able to reproduce the bug,
because it is printing now, but I don't know when it stops working again

Attempting to mark it for installation prompts me regarding removal of a

Maybe it has something to do with my problem. I have had the same
problem with the screensaver attached. I tried to switch down computer
by pressing Switch Off button, and it worked (it shut down properly), so
it's not a hard lockup. Anyways, I could not use X.org anymore.

On a fresh install of a fully updated hardy, I find I still need the 99
-non-free-nvidia hack to get things to work properly. Without it,
suspend works, but causes compiz to sometimes go whitescreen (requires X
server kill to fix).
With 99-non-free-nvidia, everything works fine.

There is the Synaptics TouchPad util which seems very similar to what you
require.
In Ubuntu, install gsynaptics. In Kubuntu, ksynaptics. You should find you can
then add the applet to your panel.

Yes i'm able to navigate. The system doesn't work slower and CPI usage is
normal.

OK. As I thought, this isn't a bug with the unichrome driver, but with
the openchrome driver. I've had this problem with it every time I've
used it.

On my system it works again. What I did:
* In /usr/share/applications/gimp.desktop I added at the end of the line
MimeType= ... "image/x-dcraw;"
* In /usr/share/application-registry/gimp.applications I added at the end of
the line Mime_typs ... ",image/x-dcraw"
* I ran 'sudo update-desktop-databa

I am sorry about the PPA. I had some cleanups there and temporarily removed
some packages before I rebuild. This should be fixed in a few minutes. Renaming
the module alone unfortunately does not help because the name of the modules is
also part of the module itself (set on compile time).

I get freeze after "Suspending console(s)" on 2.6.24-17.31, but not on -16.30
