The patched g-p-m seems to fix the issue of the screen not blanking and
no policy action dialog appears! The strange thing is that if I set the
laptop to do nothing on closing the lid, it correctly does nothing, but

CPU usage is 20-80% on my machine(Hardy beta)
It would be nice if GSM used no more cpu than top so the resource tab
can actually be used accuratly. At the present time CPU usage on the
resource tab is at 80% on an otherwise idle machine, which doesn't help
in gaging cpu usage of the rest of the ma
I am also experiencing USB resets using Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 Beta when
attaching an external USB 2.0 3.5" HDD.
Running a command like 'wipe -kq /dev/sdg' leads to a reset after
running for a few hours.
Sometimes a reset forces a new device mapping (so /dev/sdg is no longer
valid) and wipe returns

OK. I created a file with the attachment you sent me. I made sure my
user account had right and read access to the file. Then I ran tagtool
again. I did the same. But it does create a file .tagtoolrc~ every time
it tries to start

I find this error message when the caps key is depressed during use. It
started to appear after teh update manager indicating that there is an
error in the calculation: Bad key or directory name:
"/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/host-wireless!/0/numlock_on": `!'
is an invalid character in key/
I read through all the thread, and many of the forums around regarding
the issue. Nothing really worked here -- among other things i disabled
and re-enabled the nvidia restricted drivers.

Something I discovered from trying to setup sharing in both Ubuntu and
Fedora:
