Hi, I found a first solution at ubuntugreek, <a
href="http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-turn-the-memory-stick-light-off-
on-sony-vaio-notebooks-in-feisty.html"> here </a>

There is told how to turn it off while putting the modules on the
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist .

But I want to use the memory stick reader. So I only deactivated the
module tifm_7xx1 with

sudo modprobe -r tifm_7xx1

Then the light goes off. After reloading the module with

sudo modprobe  tifm_7xx1

The light stays off although I can use the memory stick reader.
