HD. When suspending to disk, the console shows and endless stream of
error messages, saying that writing to disk fails. It would appear that

On the homepage of fuseiso in can read :
FuseISO is a FUSE module to mount ISO filesystem images (.iso, .nrg,
.bin, .mdf and .img files). It currently support plain ISO9660 Level 1
and 2, Rock Ridge, Joliet, and zisofs.
Does the gvfs-fuse can mount .iso, .bin, .mdf & img also ???).
I should add that this issue was also present in Gutsy. A little bit
less bad though, because in spite of the absurdly huge letters when I
typed in my name in the login screen input field, in the end it was
possible to boot into a normal X.
Already in Gutsy, I applied the same solution of removing

I just installed a lot of patches today that included the kernel,
nvidia, libc6, etc. and I am still having the problem. I am getting
quite frustrated as it has been a week and I can't really use my

On a fresh install of Hardy Beta I set the time, added two locations
and then clicked 'set' to change the time to that location's timezone.
What followed was interesting.
I had another program open, a settings window from something in the
System menu, and when the password dialog popped under the

I think I remember discovering this quirk in my Dapper system when I was
manually setting domains. I remember DHCP wasn't working best for me.

If I remember correctly, make install flac wasnt necessary. I think make - then
copy the flac plugin for xmms from the build directory to xmms plugins dir was

I have the same problem as the original poster, and Elliot Murphy's fix
has been working until today. Hardy just released a bunch of upgrades
and it broke.
Going into Synaptic, clicking on the bluez packages, and going to
package > force version... at the top of synaptic works, plus I have to

This appears to be fixed in the Hardy beta. I changed the cups-pdf output
directory in /etc/cups/cups-pdf.conf:

Hi,
On upgrading to the 2.24.12 kernel (and 2.24.14) my external microphone
is not working. When I use skype the person I try to talk to simply cant
hear me.
If I boot with the 2.24.11 kernel everything is fine.
Can I supply any additional data to help debug this?

I tested with the 2.6.22-14-generic gutsy kernel. No change. But, I also
tested the KDE4 Kubuntu hardy livecd and it had no issues. Starting to
think this is some leftover configs somewhere that broke from gutsy ->
hardy.
