Public bug reported: Sorry, I dont know to which packages this should go.
I try to install a Hardy LiveCD (all starting from Alpha 5) to a test system. The only hard disk in this system already have valid linux fs/partitioning (ext3 + swap) on it. The LiveCD is using the swap-partition on this disk so partman cannot partition this disk. When Ubiquity is starting partman, cpu goes to 100% for hours, so never ending. I had to kill it. my solution: I booted GParted-LiveCD and deleted all partitions. Now Hardy LiveCD (latest Beta version with all updates from Yesterday created with remastersys) will install fine on this system. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- LiveCD Ubiquity freeze in partman https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212359 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
