I agree marking this as "Fix Released" is confusing, it should be marked as
"Invalid".
See comments #143 (Bryce's) and #162 (mine) why.
There should also be a clarification in the original report why this has been
closed and that the issue is not fixed.
Additionally it should state clearly what

Taupter : restricted modules and ubuntu modules are two packages which
add drivers and modules to ubuntu. Most of laptops won't have sound

I think that I would rather change the update-initramfs call to a

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kpdf
I use kubuntu/gutsy.
Checking the collate option when printing from kpdf has no effect.
Expected behavior when printing two copies of a three-paged document:
Collate on: 1-2-3, 1-2-3
Collate off: 1-1, 2-2, 3-3
Current behavior:
Collate on: 1-1
Sadly, I no longer have the original video (or the hardware I was trying
to view it on), but there is a similar copy at

[apport] totem crashed with SIGFPE in _x_audio_out_resample_stereo()
Just for the record: I submitted a repair request to the graphics card
vendor because of the noisy fan, but they shipped me a newer version of
this card as a replacement instead. Now X no longer locks up with AGP in
4x mode when normal or extra desktop effects are enabled in Gutsy.

This is caused by incorrect sun-java6-javaws.desktop entry. See #84501

Serial ports, even converted ones, should probably be in the "dialout"
group (just like ttyS*). In theory, this should work already -- your
device should have a ttyUSB0 device set up from the "tty" subsystem, and
you should be able to access this.
It looks to me like your program might be trying
