know what happened to begin with to start it all. It was too unusable
for me to narrow down any particular issue. This bug can be deleted (i
don't know if thats possibly) in any case it will automatically expire

Since you've obviously done it before, can you try building SVN stable
on Ubuntu to see if it works there? Sebastian Dröge has been pretty
diligent about patching from SVN to fix bugs, so if it works there we
might be able to get this fixed.

snd_hda_intel module loaded (check with "lsmod |grep snd_hda_intel")?.
