You probably have synchronisation with Pidgin enabled on Evo -- See
Preferences/Mail Preferences/Automatic Contacts. Then what will happen
is every so often the synchronisation will start -- for each buddy in
Pidgin Evo will search for a match in the Contacts; if not found, then
it will add it in.
The PPA packages solve the dependency problems for me. I also ran today
a 3 hour long simulation with scipy/numpy and done analysis with your
version of Matplotlib without any breakage.

Ok, well after other tests, It's certainly not flashplugin-nonfree, It crashes
without the package installed...
I really don't know how can I find the problem because when It crash I can't do
anything else than manual reboot,

I don't think the secure search path set during compile time can be
overrode.
There are different options.
1) You can call kate with full path.
2) You can create a link i.e. in /usr/local/bin that points to the correct
place of kate (manageable if you only use, but not very nice)

I got the crash again when I did this. I think the crash happens once a
reboot. Iran the command before and after inserting my media player
(note the problem is that it is not a camera) and here is the diff:
