Regarding Paul's message, I'm having the problem at (b) (usplash with
bouncing progress bar (black background)). A monitor-managment-ish

I think I figured it out.
The find function was actually working all along. However, for some
reason, the initial size of the window is such that the "Find" dialog at
the bottom of the page is exactly off-screen (hidden below the toolbar).
When I "maximize" the window, I then see the find dialog.

should be blindingly obvious by now, is, by and large, nonsense.
First of all, let me make this absolutely clear - you should pay ZERO
attention to the number reported by smartctl for Load_Cycle_Count. It is
probably not a raw c

Also, the curl error message references /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt
but apt-file search /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt doesn't locate
ca-certificates as providing that file. So there may be an issue with
ca-certificates and its packaging.
