I've created a udev rule which works quite well for this card. It is
attached. It depends on the firmware being saved in /lib/firmware// as prism2-pm010102.hex and prism2-rf010804.hex.

It seems the gettext domain is not set correctly in this case,
unfortunately I didn't test the fixes properly apparently before, only
that the strings are translatable and in language packs. Adding:

that doesn't seem to work at all for me. I attached the new syslogd
output, for both CIFS and SMBFS (contains a couple new errors, maybe
that helps). Just to be sure: I opened ports 445 and 139 for both UDP
and TCP on my router *and* I tried using SSH portforwarding, so it can't
be my routing
Same here; this bug has indeed reappeared. Both adept-manager and adept-

Binary package hint: evolution
The fields office (bureau) and home (domicile) for the email are
unsynchronized between "Contacts" and "About me" windows. The office
field of the first window is the home field of the second (view the
screen shot).
I think the problem appears

Problem:
After installing Gusty 7.10 Kubuntu with a AD1988 HDA Intel onboard sound
chipset, KMix does not give the user the option to select Digital Out as one of
the output formats.
Workaround:
Open `alsamixer' and manually unmute and turn up volume o
I also witness this since forever; I think this is supposed to be normal
for RAID 1 and people are supposed to use RAID 0+1 to get similar speed
benefits as for RAID 0.
I'm also curious of the underlying technical reason.

I checked the keyboard preferences in Gnome, and the only layout that shows up
there is a US-English standard. (It is not marked as standard however)
