graphics card so that I could finish the installation on this machine
and as a result I can't now reproduce the original problem that I had
with the onboard ATI chipset.

Confirmed - kinda. The problem is that when pressing the windows key,
"super-L" is assigned no matter what. This despite any attempts to press
Win+L, Win+Q, or any other combinations. The instant you press the
windows key, "Super L" is assigned.
VERY annoying... :)

Updated my BIOS to the latest version (14SH). The system still randomly
freezes with kernel 2.6.20-16 if multicore processing is enabled. Kernel
2.6.22-14 takes very long to boot (~10 minutes) but wifi is working now
due to the latest update of linux-restricted-modules-generic. I haven't

I'm having trouble playing DVD Videos with Kubuntu 7.10. Kaffeine says
that it can't mount the drive. Looking at the properties of the disk on
the desktop, both the user and group are 4294967295.
