Importance:
It is correct that we don't ship xserver-xgl by default. However, for
many users this package is not necessary for Compiz to work - Compiz
works just fine without Xgl on Intel, nVidia, and ATI cards <= x850.
The only people who need Xgl to run compiz are those using the fglrx
drivers.

I must agree with the above comments that fancyheadings.sty certainly
should not be removed - backwards compatibility is of paramount
importance: I must be able to compile my old docs without jumping
through hoops. Not including it will waste several peoples' time down
the line.

I can confirm this bug. Additionally, some keybindings (like alt-tab or
shift-tab) cannot be set using ccsm (also see Bug #152148 for that)
