Ok, ive almost found out exactly whats going on here and what needs to

Just another follow up. Today, I upgraded to gutsy, from feisty, on a
machine that has seen several upgrades in the past, and I still hit this
bug. Removing evms fixes the problem, it seems.
On the plus side, wireless networking now works much better for my
card:-)

Please update your system. Strange you should not be allowed to click on
the test button, since the intel driver does not support this feature
reliable.
Furthermore I recommend to update your system. There should be a
"widescreen monitor" button in the monitor model dialog. The intel

I just did a network upgrade from Feisty to GutsyRC, and repeatedly ran
into the same problem - dpkg dies and goes and apt-get hangs
forever. It kept happening on kmail and openoffice.org packages. Have
to open a terminal and kill apt-get manually. This happened wtih the

Going in via SSH and changing gdm.conf by hand to use gdmlogin, instead
of gdmgreeter, makes GDM usable again, although obviously with the wrong
type of login module. I'm wondering whether 2.20.0-0ubuntu4 broke
something in GDM or whether it's actually caused by last-minute changes
in the Gutsy GDM
The 'Suggests: ncftp (>= 3.2.1)' really should be 'Depends:'. The fix
that Ubuntu put in to hide the password from the command line requires
the newest ncftp in order to work. Check your version and upgrade as
needed.

Ah, the problem is that you are using SVG images. SVG is a vector
format. gThumb and eog are raster viewers.
The librsvg library is used by gThumb and eog to convert the SVG image
into a raster format - automatically causing fuzziness. I'm not sure
what dpi/resolution is used in the vector>raster
The latest Gutsy networkmanager does not recognize a Broadcom wifi with
ndiswrapper and the bcmwl5.inf driver.
Dmesg shows that the driver and device are working as eth1.
I can almost work around knetworkmanager with kwlan or configuring
wpa_supplicant directly.

@hangy: I can run OpenGL games other than Warsow just fine. In fact, under
Feisty, I was able to run the latest binary version of Warsow directly from
their website. However, when I try to do that now, I get the following error

[UNMETDEPS] gpc-4.1 has unmet dependen
It sounded strange, because I've thought problem is not in some shell
script, but in ddcprobe binary. Problem it, it defaults to 1,0 ratio, if
it can't find correct one via EDID. OK, real problem is it can't find
correct one. Maybe the best thing you can do is use Xorg autodetection
and rewrite too

In Gutsy's latest LyX, as well as in the more recent version 1.5.2, it
is impossible to edit any math in cells of a table that extend off the
screen to the right, ie a table which is wider than the screen.
When in such a cell, moving the cursor over

When you do that, you will lose sight of what you're editing, at least if

Here's the requested attachment. Most importantly, I can't press the
