The latest Gutsy networkmanager does not recognize a Broadcom wifi with ndiswrapper and the bcmwl5.inf driver. Dmesg shows that the driver and device are working as eth1.
I can almost work around knetworkmanager with kwlan or configuring wpa_supplicant directly. This driver and chipset have worked with Feisty. Kubuntu's knetwork manager is always a little more difficult. I'm using Kubuntu 7.10 rc on a Dell e1505 or 6400. -- Unable to connect to an open network, wlassistant can connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
