Same thing here: Amarok shows the daap server name, but when I click on
the plus sign to list the songs, the arrow icon keeps going round
forever and no listing is shown. With Rhythmbox, the same host works
fine. Tried with banshee-daap and mt-daap servers.

The new alternative experimental drivers (CONFIG_FIREWIRE) are not ready
for production yet, unless distributors know exactly what they are
doing. Support by userspace libraries and applications is still
lacking, and there are some hardware incompatibilities. See

Matthew, that probably means that the daap support was not compiled into
the package, or that you need to run kbuildsycoca. As the same user,
run "kbuildsycoca --noincremental" and see if it resolves the "Unknown
protocol 'daap'" issues. Otherwise you may want to check and see if it
was compiled

The "problem" is that gparted can only do operations on unmounted
partitions and if gparted finished an operation on it... gnome will
mount the "new inserted partition" immediately . ;-)
So... gparted should disable auto-mount temporarily. I found a Gnome-Bug for
that...

I have upgraded my Edgy to Feisty and the upgrade tool is crashed at the
end. Power Manager shows 0 MHz and Adept says powernowd and powersaved
are not installed but in /etc/init.d the startup scripts exists and also
in rc2.d

Tooltips take around 1.5-2 seconds to display. This is long enough for
an average user to unhover (thinking there isn't going to be any context
help).
The tooltip delay was effective in Feisty, can we get this reverted?

I have the same problem in a Laptop too. In windows, the camera appears
as a Chicony USB 2.0 Camera. In Ubuntu 7.04 and in Ubuntu 7.10, the
camera is not detected properly and doesn't work. Attached I send the
information resquested. If you need more information, let me know.

The patch dyndns_com.diff is not valid, so that's why it's removed
upstream. Exaclty this is a merge, not a sync.. check title of the bug.
