Oke, I see... What I do not understand is how this influences the behaviour of gparted. I want my stuff to automount when I insert or hotplug it, but not when it is already plugged in and I open gparted (or gparted does something)... isn't there something to do about this? I mean, a lot of new users will have this problem I think _and_ more important, if I remember well then it also happened on the ubuntu install cd when partitioning my drive.
