The "problem" is that gparted can only do operations on unmounted partitions and if gparted finished an operation on it... gnome will mount the "new inserted partition" immediately . ;-)
So... gparted should disable auto-mount temporarily. I found a Gnome-Bug for that... http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324220 ** Also affects: gparted (upstream) via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324220 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- gparted automaticly mounts all filesystems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133806 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
