Finally fixed my problem. Every time I launched a gnome application from
the terminal, I would always see something about esd not being found.
So, the little light bulb came on in my head and I installed the esound
package. After a quick reboot, magically the sounds works and I have my

Xpress 200M. I followed instructions to download the file and it seems
to have made the issue worse. I managed to get the warning flags about
using it in software GL mode...when it finally came up it had no map of

I believe I am also experiencing this bug. I use two monitors using
Xinerama, however they are positioned one on top of the other in a
vertical layout.
When I have my GNOME Panel at the top of the bottom monitor, maximising
a window on the bottom monitor hides the window titlebar behind the
panel.
It gets as far as starting to mount the root file system then the following
appears..
Uncompressing Linux.. Ok, booting the kernel.

I'm having this problem too with a fresh Gusty install as of an hour
ago, with the lastest updates. It happens when double-clicking on any
desklet.

want. It also happens when I try to use xsane via the gimp acquire

I have the same camera (plugged in atm) and it says the same error. I'm
a somewhat experienced Linux user so if there's anything I can do to
help please tell me, the error message renders me clueless :/

I am using Dapper.
I don't know if the same bug exist in new release of Ubuntu.
But it seems openoffice does not refresh it's list of printers even if cups do.
You need to close all openoffice instance and load again to get the list from
cups.
This should be fixed it's one annoying bug.

I think I've found a workaround...
sudo rmmod snd_usb_audio
and add the line:
blacklist snd-usb-audio
in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
IT HAS ERRORS WHEN DOWNLOADING PHOTOS USING: gphoto2 --debug
