Another issues that it doesn't check consistently after 30 mounts. In

In my personal experience just clicking on "Enable" in Restricted
Drivers Manager installs nvidia-glx from the repos and the user is
unable to stop this installation. So if you have the NVidia binary
driver installed Xorg fails on restart giving an API mismatch. This
would suggest that
Cupsys just got updated again, so I've plugged my printer back in and it
was added automatically with the correct Photosmart driver, quite nice!
However, when trying to print a document, I had got the job state
"Pending: printer-stopped". Canceling the job, running "sudo aa-complain
cupsd" and try

WONTFIX/NOTOURFAULT bug. Manually installed nvidia drivers will put an
effective uninstall script on the system. I think it behooves RDM to
check for the presence of this file, and either abort safely upon
detection, or offer to
according to bug 119052 the module will then be autoloaded, it works
fine after you load that module. therefore, fix released and will be in
gutsy+1 (which will have the autoloading thinkpad module in the kernel
that will be in gutsy+1).

Do you think it is possible to port the ata_piix module from kernel
2.6.15 with the 2.6.20 (if this comes from this module...)? I have quite
a good experience in C dev but never jumped into the kernel itself, but
if I can bring any help, I'll be pleased. :)

It's unlikely that a new version will make it into feisty-updates, but
we might be able to backport 1.5 to both it and Dapper. We shall see.

On a clean install gusty gibbon i386 machine:
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
It will precede to download and setup but has an error. Here is a copy
of my output:

Yeah, I'm still using nvidia, but I never had any problems with this in
Feisty.
But actually, I'm not having the same troubles anymore since the compiz
updates. glxgears still crashes X, but now I'm able to play all of the
games mentioned above without trouble.
