Hi Mum, Nothing I can do at the moment for your scanner, but confirmation below that the next version 'Gutsy Gibbon' fixes the scanner issue. It's due out in 4 months but we can probably upgrade in around 2 months (for the pre-release version). It's available right now but it could be a bit ropey upgrading at this point (it's not ready yet).
