I am testing feisty and running Beryl and gDesklets. I tend to push the
system a little. While I surf the net I like to listen to my tunes
using XXMS. Periodically, when I move the mouse cursor over the close
button on the title bar (without even clicking on it), the whole
running Nautilus, then going to Go/Location (or Crtl-L) and entering '#'
will produce the same SIGSEGV loop.

Actually i figured out, that the problem occurs only when EXA is enabled in
xorg.conf:

I can reproduce this every time with kvm_16-1ubuntu2 on an HP Compaq
dc7700p desktop system with Intel VT enabled in the BIOS (v2.09) running

The monitor section of your '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' file doesn't have your
monitor's horizontal and vertical refresh rate values in it but rather
default ones. Possibly changing that section to one's supported by your
monitor would help. I found the supported values in your

Same here with flashplugin-nonfree 9.0.31.0.2ubuntu1 on Feisty. Firefox
hangs with various flash-based movie players when I close windows or
tabs. Only way to get out is to pkill -9 firefox-bin and restart. I'm
on Feisty on i386 Intel with an ati gcard (free software drivers) and
Intel HDA sound
The new partitioner doesn't support this yet (to be fair, I rather doubt
gparted did either), but it could in the future.

When I downloaded mp3 file (right button click -> save target as) and
doubleclicked finished task on "Download Statusbar 0.9.4.6" Beep Media Player
opened and started playing the song but after few seconds firefox just
disappeared. There were f

Well it seems that my drive (which is affected - see dup #72654) does
report the correct size which is 359849 sectors (with 2048 Bytes in each
sector that makes about 700MB), at least according to cdrecord
dev=/dev/hdd -atip. Unfortunately it does report a wrong start sector
(i.e. start of lead in
snd-seq modile is still missing in Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy :(

and ones reported a bug (beta cd feisty crashing on startup with ati
