Yes, you can obviously do that, improving the speed and decreasing the
memory used.

Anyway, that is not the point, I just think it should use the default
java machine, selected through update-alternatives. Java-6 doesn't need
to be a dependency, but, if installed, and if it is selected as the
default java machine, then it should be automatically used.
