Is there anything being done with respect to this bug? Are we certain that this is a software bug? Can you recommend a way for me to test the audio hardware on this machine if we are not certain it is a software bug (this is a brand new machine that has never had anything but Ubuntu on it, I have never heard sound come from this machine)?
