from /var/log/dmesg. On kernel from Ubuntu 6.10 2.6.17.11-generic I

I believe the issue is that /tmp files are lost on reboot, which is why
they are in the /tmp file. This is more an issue of Firefox choosing to
save in /tmp (without using the save as and redirecting to a different
folder) than it is feisty or ubuntu. Iirc, it does the same thing in
other Os'. I t

badly at some times (for about 10 minutes, during the other 20 minutes seeking

I've always considered blanking out /etc/network/interfaces to be a
normal configuration. The only way to get WPA support with Network
Manager is to do that.
Doing those things doesn't hurt anything if you aren't trying to do
anything really weird like bridge a connection or have 2 interfaces

I have had the exact same problem. I have a "nVidia Corporation NV17
[GeForce4 440 Go]" and so I have to use nvidia-glx-legacy.
Digging around in the Xorg.0.log I found this:

My fstab looked like this (before and) after the upgrade:

After I accentually discovered that I could change the theme to one that is
visible without scrolling when I clicked one, my theme changed to it, but a lot
of applets(and even thunderbird and synaptic) were crashing.
Then I changed my theme in gconf-editor back to Human and I could select themes

I think in kde you could use kwifimanager to configure the wireless
card. I don't if that will work. You can also edit manually
/etc/network/interfaces this way:

I did install the package - it did not break anything. Booting as
before.
I can not confirm that it improved things since I patched my cryptsetup-
scripts manually before and disabled splash.
